It helps me to read great blogs like yours, Annie. I do try to count my blessings, because I know that physically and financially, I could be so much worse off. At present, I'm dealing w/ the death of my sister 3 wks. ago and as depression starts rearing itss ugly head much worse than it has in yrs. I'm so thankful for the support of others, in person, on the phone and online. My relationship w/ God helps me try to stay positive too and receive comfort.
You did the colored pencil flowers? Pretty awesome!
Love the pencils! and hoping your truce works out x
Anon above, my heart cries for you in your grief. I lost my only sister what feels like yesterday altho it’s been over two years. I am so very sorry for your loss. Words are inadequate.
Good things?
my best friend is coming to visit tonight!!
My doctor has a new idea for my muscle spasm treatment (or at least a new dosing plan)
I think my mother is getting me a new mattress pad so my bed doesn't hurt so much (college mattresses are not at all nice).
Anon - I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine losing my brother.
One of my loveliest friends died a week ago today. He was in a terrible accident, completely out of the blue. I think that I'm still in shock but I'm also trying to count my blessings (I was so lucky to have been his friend) and am finding consolation by reading blogs. I think that hearing other voices and reading about other lives is helping to keep me steady. It's so hard though. I know that I need to 'manage' my emotions so that I avoid an even worse flare (I have ME).
My heart goes out to you. Take good care of yourself (I'm glad that you are being looked after).
