Amsterdam!

Some of the lovely friends that I have met online and I are making plans to all meet up in Amsterdam in a few years!

I rarely have big events to look forward to, so this is one that actually has me half-determined to keep pushing forward!

I would need to get a passport and a lot of money, but it would be so much fun!  I have not traveled anywhere outside of Canada and the United States, and I want to experience that European charm!.  Plus, I would be going with fellow afflicted individuals, so there would be a much slower and more tolerable pace.

This situation may never happen.  But even if it doesn't, it will make fine daydream material for awhile :).

(This is totally to help distract from the massive emotional breakdown I am having!)

What are the locations of your daydream vacations??

Annie

I've always wanted to travel. Luckily I've made it to a few places before becoming ill. Here is what is still on the list though: Germany, Paris, Scotland, Ireland, New Zealand, Hawaii, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland OR, Spain, Italy, Alaska, Argentina, Hong Kong, Montreal, Thailand, Nepal, Patagonia. That's all I can think of right now.

Ireland was my daydream vacation and I fulfilled it this June :) I love it and can't wait to go back. Now I need to add the south of France, England and adorable little Alpine villages to the dream = reality list.

Although I haven't been to Amsterdam for about seven years, it remains one of my favourite places. I went there four years on the bounce and always had a great time. It really is a beautiful city.

I went to Thailand on homeymoon last summer and fell in love with the place and the people. So much so, in fact, that I got the national flag tattoed on my arm while I was there.

France is my absolute favourite. I lived there on two occasions totalling almost two years and would love to live there on a full-time basis. That is my dream....

I have always wanted to go the outback! It's the only outside the USA trip I want to take. I'm not much for heavy travel (airplanes make my headaches far worse) but if I did, that is where I would go. Second, Africa. I guess I could put them on my buckette list, you never know. In the US, I want to see the great montana skyscape. I want to lay on my back during the sunset hours and just watch her develope, DC just so I can't paint the white house yellow & Anywhere an ocean is present. I miss my new england shore line! HEre's to a better day. Hugs. Tazzy

Patagonia: have wanted to go there since grade school. I have a rich nephew and niece (in-law) who like to travel and want to visit all the continents (I told you they were rich). So, I keep encouraging them to go to Patagonia so I can vicariously make it there. I'll never (unless I win the lottery) have the money to go there.

I'd like to go back to Paris even though it was there that I got sick in 2001 :-(

I love the place anyway.
