Stationery Addiction

Ahhhhhhh!

Everyone on my twitter is going on about how they are addicted to stationery and I am no exception!  Pens, markers, notebooks, thank-you cards, you name it!  The ol' pen and paper never let me down!!

Does anyone else want to come forth as an addict??  We can only learn from each other!

My favorite is Kukuxumusu! http://www.kukuxumusu.com/shop/stationery/

I volunteer teaching card making twice a month so I think I'm supposed to have a bit of an addiction BUT I also have the top drawer of my dresser filled with blank cards for all occasions, hee hee!
I love the "Write again" pen (http://www.penagain.com/) not that I WANT to feed your addiction!
you know what "they" say, if you can't beat em, join em!

One of my favorite things to do when I was younger (before the internet existed) was walk around stationary stores. I only know of one left and I bought several boxes of cards the last time I was there. I love all the different papers, cards, pens, etc. I even taught myself caligraphy at one point. When I get a bit better and my hands don't shake anymore I want to take it up again as a hobby. I might start selling stuff on etsy. I was also thinking of making homemade christmas cards this year since I need stuff to do cuz I am bored out of my mind being locked up in the house all the time.

One of my 'sisters from another mother' called me a "paper slut" one afternoon in a stationery store. After I finished laughing I had to agree. Love paper, blank cards, envelopes, all that funnest stuff. And I keep it forever too: a Garfield lined pad from the early 70's high school; my uncle's letterhead from the excursion boat he bought from Granddad in the late 60's; the gray mismatched paper and envelopes I used to send out resumes when I moved cross-country in 2000. It's crazy I know. The feel, the smell, the visuals....

I am completely addicted to stationary and have to use all my will-power to stay away from stationary shops as my purse just can't cope with being that empty.
