Fur:
An imaginary portrait of Diane Arbus, an artist known for her unconventional and disturbing images. The movie focuses on her torn relationship between her photographer husband and neighbor with hypertrichosis. Even though it may be fictional, this story moved me in many ways. I loved the performances from the leads and they had wonderful chemistry. It was amazing to see the pictures of those commonly deemed "freaks of nature" being put on display for their beauty.
The Kids are All Right:
An all-star cast, and an amazing story of family. It it definitely worth a watch, at least for the beautiful Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo.
Havoc:
The film that got Anne Hathaway cast as Catwoman. She is one of many in a wealthy group who are attempting to live the gangsta' lifestyle (explained as only occurring as a result of teenage boredom). She and a friend become entwined with a rival gang, and her friend becomes victim to a terrible gang rape. Both sides end up taking revenge, to what likely results in further tragedy.
Special Topics in Calamity Physics:
If you are feeling bored with your current vocabulary, pick this sucker up at your local bookstore. Marisha Pessl writes this book and manages to find words that even the vastly literate would have to look up. Blue Van Meer gets into a web of mystery when she makes new friends in her senior year. I liked it, but it wasn't a love relationship.

Saw "The Kids Are All Right"...loved it.
Also watched "Love and Other Drugs" last night...loved it as well.
Just finished "Chocolate & Vicodin" by Jennette Fulda...a must read for all with chronic pain.
Just finished "The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating" which was wonderful. The author who is bedbound from CFS has a pet snail. Fantastic book!
Just started Fool Moon. Old style detective novel + a wizard = Dresden Files Novels. Fool Moon is the second one in the series. Very entertaining.
Water for Elephants. Bearing in mind that the film is soon out, starring Robert Pattinson. :-)
