Love Me Fridays

  • Finishing the best book ever for being chronically ill!  How To Be Sick by Toni Bernhard!  Loved it!  Going to refer to it ALL of the time!
  • My boyfriend being a wonderful caregiver.
  • Mass Effect 2.
  • Writing by candlelight.
  • Music for being a wonderful distraction (when not to loud of course! Super sensitive hearing!)
  • The search for a decorated cane.
  • Having my mother come sit with me through medical appointments that are long and boring (aka a gastric emptying study!)
  • People who reach out to me who I haven't spoken to in a REALLY long time. I'm thinking this is something I should start doing more often in return!
  • The insomnia is technically giving me more time to work! Haha.
  • Getting closer to my father - who built me the craziest, awesome-est, early 70's flower power bike!

What are you grateful for this week?!  What is making your life more tolerable, or even downright fantastic!?  This girl wants to know and spread the joy :)!

xoxo,
Annie

*Mom and sis coming to visit! I'm so excited!
*Hubby buying me a shower stool unasked when I could no longer stand up long enough to get clean.
*Being able to take long hot showers again!
*Smelling like soap and shampoo instead of sweat.
*Udi's GF chocolate chip muffins. Nom nom nom!
*Toni's awesome book which I need to finish reading.
*My awesome shrink whom I got to see today for the first time in seven years. I actually feel relieved that I have someone to talk to about being so ill and all the weird relationship issues it causes.

Almost forgot: watching Hawaii Five 0 with h :-)

BTW, we must have the same sense of humor. I saw the Fibonacci Pigeons picture the other day and it made me smile.

I've got a kinda eclectic list this Friday -- it's been one of those weeks!
*Amy's cream of tomato soup with a toasted onion bun
*warmer, sunshiner weather the last couple of days
*morning coffee with light cream
*actually getting laundry done twice in one week
*funnily enough,Sherlocke Holmes (with Jeremy Brett) on Tuesdays on a local PBS station
*posting to my blog several times this week
As I said, eclectic. Enjoyed your list (as always)

It's my wedding anniversary today! That means the most delicious Indian food for us this weekend. :)

I'm thankful for my new apartment on the 7th floor of a beautiful, historical building in Tulsa!

I'm glad to be back in my own space!

I just glad to be back!

I think I need to get Toni's book and read it.
