Trials and Error in Dictation Software

I'm trying out dictation software in the hopes of healing up my carpal tunnel.

I can't say it's perfect, but it's definitely an improvement over typing.

For anyone who has a lot of pain in their wrists or elbows - I recommend making the effort to try software similar.

Even if it ends up typing weird things like "Jamar????".

Worst case scenario it's always good for a laugh!

Thanks to everyone on twitter who advised me on such a purchase!

xoxo,
Annie

Right on Annie. WE have a friend who uses it regularly and it works very well for him too.

Very cool technology! 25 years ago, at my first job with slick Apple computers, I used to laugh over the word substitutions the spell-checker would suggest when it came across someone's name!

have fun with your new toy...and I hope it helps your wrists heal!

I've used Dragon before. It worked great except first thing in the morning when my voice was all creaky. It couldn't recognize my voice. LOL

There are website dedicated to Dragon suggestions. The best entries always seem to be the medical dictations.
