Fave Quotes: Naomi Watts

I always love being in the company of women. It's all about good conversation and great wine.
Naomi Watts

I find myself gravitating towards drama. It interests me. In the books I read, the paintings I like, it's always the darker stuff.

Pain is such an important thing in life. I think that as an artist you have to experience suffering.

You have to make peace with yourself. The key is to find the harmony in what you have.

A few of these touched my heart.

And I'm not going to lie, I'm exhausted from the pain of it all!  Hence, low effort blog posting haha.

What actresses make you run to the silver screen (usually to escape the horrors of daily existence...)??

Hope you are all having wonderful weekends!

xoxo,
Annie

I really like these quotes. Thanks for sharing them. I find the third one very relevant that you have to experience suffering. I think everyone needs to go through some kind of pain in life in order to appreciate it.

As for your question about what actress makes me run to the silver screen. I love Mariska Hargitay. I can watch SVU all the time, even repeats. As morbid as it sounds it makes me appreciate that no matter how bad my life might seem, there's always something worse. So in a freaky roundabout way I find it kind of uplifting.

The very same Naomi Watts makes me run to the silver screen! Have you seen her in The Painted Veil? I love that movie. She's also great in Eastern Promises.

I must admit to loving angelina jolie in 'girl interrupted'. I don't know, it may be because I loved the book for years before it made it to film and even though the book is different, I really liked how angelina played the character she played. I have to be careful though, because I relate too much to the characters and it can cause me to relapse a bit.
