According to the phone call from her mother, she almost died last night of some kind of super pneumonia. [Edit, I now know that she went into septic shock from the pneumonia and that her kidneys shut down and some damage went to her heart and lungs].
Some shocking news for sure. I hope she is out of the ICU for her birthday this weekend.
Now I need to go buy a super awesome present hoping she pulls through.
Life is so damn fragile.
I'm so worried.
