TV Lurves

My first blog post from a computer that is not my own.
Kind of tragic in a way. I'm working on getting it back to me as soon as possible, because even though it will cost me more than I want to pay, I still have no chance of getting a new one anytime soon.

My health is doing mediocre at best, and with the migraines, stomachaches, puking, and back pain, I just don't want to go there. That is not going to cheer anyone up, least of all the one putting up with it.

Instead, I'm going to list my favorite TV shows [all of which I would rather lay on the couch and watch than go to work and feel crummy].

In somewhat of order:
  1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  2. Firefly
  3. Arrested Development
  4. The IT Crowd
  5. Coupling
  6. First few seasons of: Dexter, Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, and The Venture Bros.
  7. ANYTHING on TLC or A&E...talk about turning my brain to mush.
Yeah that pretty much sums it up. Although anything on The Food Network or the Travel Channel also works well for me. If only I had cable. Le sigh.

Buffy, Firefly and Veronica Mars! Such good taste :) I'll have to check out the other shows you recommended

Have you been watching dollhouse? It only has three episodes left, so I'm a bit late, but it's Joss Whedon's new thing. I also love Robin Hood, but that's also something you would need dvds or ilegal internet watching for. For all that Glee has some problems, it does entertain me and make me laugh even on bad days.

I did watch Dollhouse, but I was moderately disappointed by the whole thing. I mean it's no Buffy, Angel, or Firefly in a long shot.

Glee has it's moments for sure, I should definitely try and get the rest of it so I can catch up.

Robin Hood I've never even seen...like a TV show??

Yeah, it's a bbc/bbc America television show. I find it quite a lot of fun, although I haven't seen the third season yet, so I can make no promises.

And yeah, Glee has its moments of win and its moments of total fail....

Buffy is what I watch when I have a bad migraine and can deal with some type of low background noise to distract me. And what I watch... pretty much any other time :)
