Love Me Fridays

It's the end of the week again!

I'm pretty sure my life is flying by and it kind of blows my mind.  I have a lot of things to be thankful for this week though.

  • I got to hang out with my sister and Andrew MacDonald (who doesn't read this blog but should know that I love him anyways!).
  • My friends Sarah and Adam like board games!  Finally my dreams of board game nights can become a reality!!!
  • My mom and dad come home from Florida tomorrow night!!!  My parents are 300 kinds of awesome so I'm pretty excited about it.
  • Having enough energy to do laundry!  I have a month's worth of it piled up here and it was starting to take over.
  • I've kept down a few things that resemble solid food (alas, I've given up sleep for this privilege).
  • I keep watching Christian Siriano on TV and he makes me laugh so much that I'm pretty sure I have to go our and buy his book on being fierce later!
  • I woke up happy for the first time in...probably 3 months!  Isn't that ridiculous?
  • It's showing the first signs of spring here in PEI and it is making me feel like I might be coming to life again.
What about you?  What's making your week worth celebrating??

xoxo,
Annie

This post made me smile big big smiles! I am jealous of your spring though. In Toronto it seems like winter just started over night. This is officially the most snow I have seen all season!

You must be skinny from not being able to keep food down(silver lining?!

Christian is the best.

Waking up happy is a miracle. I hope you get many more such mornings, especially now that spring is around the corner. It just seems easier to wake up happy when the sun is shining.

Apples to Apples is my family's favorite board game. I highly recommend it!

I didn't know you lived in PEI. I'm in California but in the 1970's, I lived in Nova Scotia for four years. It was so beautiful in all the Maritime Provinces. I still miss it there but all our family was back here and so we returned, partly because we had a toddler.

So, what's making my week worth celebrating is finding someone who lived near where I did!

!!!!

Suggestions and good things all around :)

I love the Maritime provinces too Toni! Although I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to go to California for sure.

Also, I love Apples to Apples. And have you ever played bananagrams? It's my new favorite game. It's like a free-form short version of scrabble.

Hi Annie, happy is a good place to be! I am HAPPY today because my Big brother decided to drive up from Tennesee (About a ten hour drive) to surprise my Mom for her birthday which is Sunday! I just found out this morning!! I need to take a nap now so I will have some energy for tonight. We always play Scrabble and Uno when he is here. My Sister Karen cheats and Bro Terry is a sore loser. You'd think we were still litte, we are 65, 64, and I'm 57 and my Mom still yells at us to quit fighting when we are together.
Family time....YAY!

Hi there! Glad you're feeling so happy. It's a good thing, ya know. :)

My hubby and I used to get together with our best buds to play board games and it provided some of the best memories we've got to look back on.

Have fun with your parents this weekend!

Apples to Apples...I have never even heard of this game so I must look it up!

Thank you everyone for being so supportive! <3

Woohoo! I love board games! I would totally join in on that if I were up there... I'm glad the weather's starting to warm up!

It was great chatting with you this week, Annie! :) Other things that made my week-- getting a Lyme diagnosis, comments on my fashion blog, and making it to class Tuesday night (albeit in a cranky mood because of my aches and pains, but I was THERE).

I have now wikipedia-d apples to apples and still have never seen that box in my life. Maybe it's unknown to PEI? Weird.

I'm sure I can find it on the Interwebz
