Over-thinking everything: what I'm doing with my life, who I'm choosing to spend time with, how my illness is switching up into its alternate stage...
I've been pretty productive in organizing my projects to be done, and as a result stumbled upon a poem I wrote in 2008 of which I was reasonably fond and thought I'd share:
A sweet smile
A glimpse of peace
A moment of silence
A sweet release
A magical moment
A clock brought still
A time for pleasure
A time to kill
A calm murmur
A silent scream
A tad unnatural
A bit obscene
Held together by stitches
Falling apart at the seams
A wonder to live
Ends question the means
Minute after minute
A day at a time
An opportunity to care
An excuse to rhyme
xoxo,
Annie
